Vera died in her son's residence. Born in Rockford, daughter of Carl J. and Hannah Carlson Lindahl. Married Harvey G. Johnson in Rockford on Feb. 12, 1937; he died Jan. 29, 1985. She graduated from Rockford High School and Rockford Business College. Member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles 392 Ladies Auxiliary and I.O.G.T. 40.

Survivors include sons, Carl (Emma), Edward and William BJ (Barbara) Johnson; daughter, Elizabeth (Sam) Armato; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
