Mrs. George W. Fitch, 59, 2722 Virginia street, died Sunday in a hospital following a brief illness. Born June 24, 1882, in Sweden, Mrs. Fitch was brought to the United States by her parents when she was a child. The family came directly to Sioux City and Mrs. Fitch received her public school education here. She was a member of the First Covenant Lutheran church; Rose Croix chapter 400, O. E. S., and Pacific Rebekah lodge 557. She was active in the Ladies Aid society of the Lutheran church. Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Wally Hatter of Des Moibes; three sisters, Mrs. Henning Swanson, Mrs. Grant Anderson and Miss Emelia Olson, all of Sioux City; a son, George W. Fitch, jr., of Sioux City; and two brothers, Carl A. Olson of Sioux City and Albert Olson of Milwaukee. The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. George W. Fitch, 59, 2722 Virginia street, who died Sunday in a hospital following a brief illness, will be held at 2 p.m Wednesday at the Nelson-Berger funeral home. Rev. G. F. Forsberg of the First Covenant Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland park cemetery.
