French Economist and Teacher. He served as a professor at the Collège de France in Paris from 1921 until 1930. He was the historical leader of the French cooperative movement, the theoretician of the social economy, the president of the social Christianity movement, founder of the School of Nîmes, and member of the League of Human Rights and the League for Human Rights.
