Special Constable George Bull was a member of the North West Mounted Police, Reg. No. 3365. He died Oct 10, 1898 (not 1896 as on the gravemarker) at Barracks Hospital of typhoid fever, age of 25. He had arrived in Dawson 6 weeks earlier.
He was born in England and came to Canada in about 1892. He had been living in Winnipeg before to becoming engaged in the Force at Regina February 15th, 1899. He had become a Special Constable for two years, but in what capacity is unknown. He was 5'8" and 142 lbs. at the time of his engagement. Previously, he had been a farmer.
