Norman MacDonald was born on the Isle of Barra,in Scotland. People called Norman "Scotty". He was the son of William Macdonald and Mary Cameron. Scotty's parents had to go to the Isle of Barra to have him because where they lived at the time, there was no hospital in there town.

The picture on Scottys headstone is the castle that is on the Isle of Barra, and was drawn by my brother Dylan Porter. The drawing was then taken to the headstone artist and carved on to Scotty's heasdstone.

Scotty was also a Sea Merchant, and at one time worked for the company Oscar Meyer in Illinoise. He also had a cowboys job in the same state.

Scotty loved the sea, and the sea was always in his heart.Of course it would always be in his heart,he was from Scotland, and a sea merchant!

Lots of love to you Scotty,(grandpa),love all your kids and grandkids who miss you so much.
