Willavene Louise Henderson Postlethwait, 94, formerly of Mannington, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Mapleshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown. She was born April 3, 1925 on Rush Run, Burton, a daughter of the late Leonard Ross and Addie Blanche Critchfield Henderson.
She was employed by Fairmont General Hospital having retired in 1990. She loved the Senior Citizens center in Mannington and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latte Day Saints.
Survivors include her children: Richard Noel (Barbara) Postlethwait of New Plymouth, Idaho and John Lloyd Jr. (Helon) Postlethwait of Mannington; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a brother: Herbert Nile Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lloyd Postlethwait; a son: Gary Postlethwait; siblings: Gertie Henderson, Hattie Marie Six, Wanda Vivian Carman, Everett Guy Henderson, Thurman Roy Henderson, Grace Henderson, and Helen Virginia Butcher.
