Geraldine Keaton Kirk Walker

November 18, 1936 - November 24, 2019

Geraldine Keaton Kirk Walker, 83, of Speedway, died peacefully Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital with her husband holding her hand. Born November 18, 1936 in Mohawk, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Keaton and Carona Bailey Keaton Davis. Geraldine was educated in McDowell County and a member of the Pentecostal Revival Center in Princeton. She was an Avon Representative for more than 30 years in Illinois and West Virginia. She was recognized many times for Avon Presidents Club and Top Sales. She made many friends throughout the years. She enjoyed going to Commission on Aging for lunches, bingo, and fellowship. She moved from WV to Chicago in 1955 with her first husband, Oliver Kirk Sr. where they made their home for more than 30 years. They then moved back to West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Oliver Kirk Sr. and a brother Fred Keaton. Survivors include her husband of three years, Lonnie Walker; Two sons, Oliver Kirk Jr. and wife Peggy, of Burbank, IL, Edward “Dwayne” Kirk and wife Deborah, of Crestwood, IL; Grandchildren, Crystal Kirk Siepka (Tim) of Paros Park, IL., April Kirk-Gregory (Scott) of Saginaw TX., Edward Kirk Jr. of Oak Forest IL., and Katherine Kirk of Chicago, IL; Two great-grandchildren Amber and Brynn of IL; Sisters, Lona Justice, Ethel Lusk and Linda Adams; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Joyce Tedder and Roger Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton.
