Billie G. Huddleston, 90 of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019.
Born in Jefferson County, Alabama, she was the daughter of Louis Preston Goolsby (1903-1982) and Levada Humbers Goolsby (1909 - 2002) of Alabama.
She married Kenneth Huddleston on July 6th, 1947 in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Mrs. Huddleston was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Huddleston (1924-2006), and a son, Steven Kenneth Huddleston (1949-2007) . Also by parents and a brother; Jimmy Preston Goolsby (1933-2002).
She was a member of Leeds First United Methodist Church, Pinebrook Literary Club, and Cahaba Valley Garden Club.
She is survived by her son, Gary L. Huddleston (Karen), daughter in law, Mary Key Huddleston, grandchildren, Todd Huddleston (Jennifer), Meagan Delfin (Raymond), Jeremy Huddleston, Brooke Bonham, Lindsey Roberson, and Ryan Huddleston.
Services for Mrs. Huddleston will be Friday, November 29, 2019 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Visitation will by from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the service following in the chapel at 11:00 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, Alabama.
