I know Abraham Crawford's obituary says that he died the 30 of Dec 1897. But if that's true someone at the newspaper was predicting the future. The obituary was printed in the
paper dated Dec. 9, 1897. Also, Dec 30th was not a Tuesday, but November 30 was. So I assert that he actually died Nov 30 1897. However so far I haven't found anything to prove that. Thank you.

DEATH OF ABRAHAM CRAWFORD
Abram Crawford was born in Muskingdom County, Ohio, June 14, 1830, where he lived until he was 18 years of age. He then moved with his parents to Indiana where he remained until 1878. Coming to Kansas, he located at Lawrence, where he remained several years. He moved from Kansas to Nebraska, locating at Stratton. Here he stayed several years and returned to Kansas, locating at Hiawatha, in 1894. Mr. Crawford was married in February, 1863, to Miss Keturah Baldwin. From this union, five children were born, Hugh, Sanford, Charlie, Allie and Meta, all of whom, with his wife, survive him. Mrs. Meta Waggoner, the daughter, now lives at Gettsberg, Pa.,
Mr. Crawford died Tuesday, December (sic) 30, of pneumonia, at the age of 67 years, 6 months 16 days. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist Episcopal church of this city, by the pastor, Rev. L. K. Billingsley. The remains were interred in the Hiawatha cemetery.
