Mrs. Meta Waggoner died at the home of her brother, Hugh Crawford Tuesday. Mrs. Waggoner has been a sufferer from Tuberculosis for the past several months. She leaves one child which will be cared for by Hugh Crawford. Mrs. Waggoner came here from Pennsylvania about three years ago and together with her husband, removed to Atchison, where he was working on the Missouri Pacific railroad. He had worked but a short time until he was killed in an accident. She then continued to live in Atchison for sometime and came back to Hiawatha a little over a year ago. The funeral services will be held this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Dr. Stewart of the Presbyterian church.
