Mother Delia died in 1914, all her children were college educated. Delia played the violin we have her violin in our family. Beulah was a music teacher, Playing piano, her piano is still in our family. Such a wonderful family full of interesting people who built this country. Dr. Ellis remarried Ruby Mc Spadden. He died in 1932 from a heart attack and he is buried next to Delia and Hazel in the Dresden Cemetery Navarro County Texas. Our mom used to tell us that when he died, the line of people coming to his funeral was over 1 mile long. Dr. Ellis was a beloved physician, who rarely got paid with money, most times he was paid in chickens, food, and crops. He was educated at Vanderbilt University. Our family has pictures, letters, and medical books and furniture, from this country doctor who loved his wives and children.
