Jennifer Sallean McKneely, passed away on November 27, 2019 at age 48.
She was born in Metairie, Louisiana on June 25, 1971 to Jerelyn Points Sallean and the late Andrew A. Sallean, III.
Jennifer received her BS from LSU in 1993 and her MA from LSU in 2002. She was a teacher at Springfield Elementary School. Jennifer was a Saints fan and an even bigger LSU fan.
She was preceded in death by her father Andrew and her grandparents, Andrew and Mercedes Sallean.
Jennifer is survived by her mother, Jerelyn Points Sallean; daughters, Lauren Angele McKneely and Katelyn Janelle McKneely; her loving partner, Kevin Vickers; sister, Janelle Sallean St. Germain (Brent); brother, Andrew John Sallean (Michele); nieces, Julia Rose Sallean, Avery Elizabeth Sallean, Campbell Grace Sallean and her best friend of several years, Veronica Pierson. Jennifer is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11am. Public visitation will begin at 9am and the interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
