Dailey: Died at his home in El Dorado, Thursday evening, February 12, at 6 o'clock, George Dailey, aged 38 years. Mr. Dailey has been sick for the past two years with dropsy of the heart and has been confined to his bed for several weeks past. On June 4, 1865, George Dailey was born in Fremont county, Iowa. When he was fourteen years old he came to El Dorado with his parents and this has been his home since. He was not married. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abner Dailey, he leaves three brothers and three sisters to mourn his death. C.M. Dailey of Oklahoma City, J.M. Dailey of Superior, Nebraska, and Abner Dailey Jr., of El Dorado; Mrs. Lydia Knott of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mrs. William Middleton of Sedgwick and Mrs. John Davis of El Dorado. Mr. Dailey was a member of the Knights and Ladies of Security and carried $2,000 insurance. The funeral occurs from Security Hall tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and interment will be made in Belle Vista cemetery. The services will be conducted by Rev. Aten.
