DARIUS WOOD, 53, died Saturday morning (April 7, 1928) at the family home in the Town of Horseheads, he is survived by his widow; two sons, Arthur and Earl; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Cresher of Swartwood; two brothers, Joel of Big Flats and Frank of Elmira Heights; four sisters, Mrs. William McCarrick of Elmira, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson of Fassett, Pa., Mrs. George Dowd of California and Mrs. Crandall of Horseheads. The remains repose in the Gustin Funeral Home in Horseheads where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial in Big Flats. –Elmira Star-Gazette 4/9/1928
