Robert L. Horst - Savannah - Robert L. Horst, 75 of Savannah, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 20, 1930 Mr. Horst was a long time resident and business owner of Horst Wholesale Florist. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Betty L. Horst, son's Robert Shane Horst of Savannah and Robert L. Horst, Jr. (Judy) of Charleston, SC. Daughter's Kathy Koncul (Martin) of Savannah, Carol Lee Horst of Charleston, SC, Karen Thibado (Paul) of Pell City, AL, Donna L. Thompson (David) of Savannah, niece's, nephews, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Affectionately known as "The Flower Man", his bright humor and warm smile will be sadly missed by all. His business neighbors at 37th and Price could set their clock by his early arrival and late departure. His memory will live on at Horst Wholesale Florist on 37th Street. It was the wish of Mr. Horst to be cremated. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Hurbert Baker Funeral Home on March 29, 2006 at 2:00 pm to honor his memory. Hubert C.
