Services will be private for Esther A. Williams, who died April 11 in Santa Cruz. She was 93. She was born in Eaton, Colo., and had lived in Santa Cruz for the past 54 years. She was a lifelong member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 7263 in Santa Cruz, and a retired member of the Western Conference of Teamsters. She loved fishing and gardening.
Mrs. Williams is survived by son Larry Williams of San Lorenzo; daughters Dorothy Artellan of Modesto and Marlene Yonkman of Santa Clara; sister Dorothy Tilgner of Richland, Ore.; brother Arnold Atkins of Spokane, Wash.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, William Williams, and sons Marvin and Robert died before her.
