MRS. AGNES HOFFMAN, widow of George W. Hoffman, who with her husband conveyed to the Reformed Church, the farm with its buildings which was the nucleus of the George W. and Agnes Hoffman Orphanage, near Littlestown, died Sunday morning at her home in Littlestown. Death was due to paralysis. She was 78 years, 2 months and 17 days old.

The conveyance of the farm was made about ten years ago. Since that time it was developed into one of the most prosperous institutions of The Reformed Church in this section. The aged Lady was happy to be present at the meeting last October, when the entire body of ministerial and lay delegates of the Potomac Synod assisted at the laying of the cornerstones for two new cottages and a school house.

Funeral was on Wednesday from the St. James Reformed Church were her late husband was superintendent of the Sunday School.

Services were in charge of her pastor, Rev. Herman Shelley, assisted by Rev. Dr. F.S. Lindaman, of Christ Church. the body was interred in the Church yard adjoining, by the side of her late husband.
