He was married on 10 Mar 1785 at Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts to Hannah Kingman, widow of Capt. Ephraim Snell.
They had 3 children: Orra Williams [1785-1823] married Earl Thayer; Susanna Packard Williams [1787] married Israel Tolman; and Anna Williams [1789] married Jesse Edson.
