She was born in Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1944. She came to Battle Creek in 1945 and was employed briefly at the Kellogg Company’s payroll department. Later she was an underwriter at Transamerica Insurance Company about ten years, then was employed by Allman TV about five years.
Her first marriage to Karl Draper ended in divorce.
Surviving are her husband Hugh S. Morrison; daughters., Dawn E. Van Nortwick of Springfield and Linda M. Godby of Battle Creek; and a son Randy K. Draper of Battle Creek; sister Jessie White of Battle Creek and Mildred Angus, Norma Wichteman and Joan Evans, all of Bellevue; and brothers, Junior and Rix Newberry, both of Bellevue.
Mrs. Morrison was cremated and the ashes provided to the family.
