Barbara Jean Coco King, 89, passed away on Friday April 12, 2019 at her home due to chronic illness complications. She was born October 20, 1929 in Shreveport, La to Ernest J. Coco and Ruth Suber.
Barbara attended St. Vincent and Byrd High School. She loved gardening, making flower bed designs, and most of all raising and loving her pets and family. Barbara was a loving wife and mother to her children.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband; Claude King, her parents, and her grandchild; Jeana Marie King. She is survived by her children; Duane C. King, Bradley T. King, and Jerome Jay King, grandchildren; Brandi King, Dustin King, Stacy King, Chris King, Claudette King, Leigh Ann King, Braden Poole and several great-grandchildren, her sister; Shirley Corrales, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved pets Cash and Little B.
