"JAMES RUTHVEN
NEENAH - James Ruthven, 68, 508 Franklin avenue, died at 5:25 this morning after a short illness. He was born Oct. 24, 1882 at Portage and had been a Neenah resident the last 50 years, coming here from Chicago.
He was employed at the Neenah Paper company and was a member of Papermakers Local 107, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Miss Ethel Ruthven, at home, and Mrs. Sylvester LaRue, Neenah; two sons, James, Jr., route 1, and Russell of San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers, William of Denver, Colo., and Martin of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Rowan of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Eliza Ruthven and Mrs. Otto Bauer of Neenah; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Westgor Funeral home at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after two o'clock Monday afternoon."
