Deborah Jeffries Riley, 65, of 1555 Glenn Fogleman Road, Rougemont, died Friday, January 17, 2020. Born in Durham County, Mrs. Riley was the daughter of the late Clarence and Velma McBroom Jeffries. She is also preceded in death by her son, Brandon Riley, her brother Lewis Jeffries and her two sisters, Virginia Ashley and Linda Cash. Mrs. Riley retired after 35 years as a beautician and was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her husband of 47 years, Scott Riley; her son, Michael Riley, of the home; two sisters, Donna "Tootie" Spivey and Shirley Long; three brothers, Milton "Mutt" Jeffries, Donald "Tink" Jeffries and Roy Jeffries; three grandchildren, Ava Riley, Clara Riley and Raidyn Riley.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, January 20, 2020, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church by the Rev. Barry Chambers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Monday at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Mike Riddle, Tom Reaves, Wayne Latta, Jamie Welch, Michael Riley, and Jimmy Whitfield.
