Nancy A. Madel, 61, Pittsfield, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at her home. She was born Sept. 6, 1949, in Manitowoc, to Reuben and Jane (Burich) Kubichka. She was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1967. On Sept. 6, 1985, Nancy married Al Madel in Manitowoc. For 33 years, she worked for Georgia Pacific in the Printed Napkin Department, retiring in 2004. She was very talented. Nancy was an excellent electrician, plumber, welder and all around “handy” person. She loved going for long drives and going out to eat with her husband and family. Nancy was a lover of all people and animals. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband, Al; a son, Bob and his fiancée, Megan; three grandchildren, Selena, Jaden, Riley; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ken and Patti Kubichka, Marion and Larry Wilson, Lee and Sue Patske, Mike Thomas, Don and Shawna Thomas, Ron Thomas, Susan and Pete Goltz, Julie and Brian Longtin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane Kubichka, Kay and Michael Augustine.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. A Memorial Service will be held at noon Saturday at the funeral home with Bob Nooker, Chaplain of Unity Hospice officiating. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
