Longtime Palm Springs restaurateur Arthur Lyons Sr. died here Friday in Eisenhower Medical Cemer. He was 70. Lyons was the owner-operator of Lyons English Grille and Lindy Lou's South, both restaurants on East Palm Canyon Drive. Lyons had been the previous owner of Mr. Ds Saddle and Sirloin, and Lindy Lou's North. A native of Wales, Lyons was a 23year resident of Rancho Mirage. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Rancho Mirage; two sons, Arthur Lyons Jr. of Palm Springs, and Kipp Lyons of Rancho Mirage; a daughter, Kerrie Lyons of Rancho Mirage; two brothers, David Lyons of Palm Springs and Israel Lyons of England; four sisters, Sari and Min Lyons, both of England; Patricia Taylor of Scotland, and Terry Leyton of England. Services were held today at Wiefels and Son Chapel, with Rabbi Joseph Hurwitz of Temple Isaiah officiating. Interment was in Desert Memorial Park
