Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson Passes Away

At her home in South Muscatine yesterday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson, she having been ill less than a week.

Her sudden taking off was a painful shock to near and dear ones to whom the sincere condolence of friends will be extended in their hour of grief. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Rockingham, Va., and attained the age of 64 years. She came to this state twenty years ago and resided here since.

One daughter and three sons mourn her departure being Hattie, Charles, William and George.

Sisters and brothers survive as follows: Mrs. Mary Woods and Jacob Sheets of Tipton, Mrs. R. M. Baker of Los Angeles, Cal.; Mrs. Kate Hininger, of Le Roy, Kas.; Mrs. Alice Woods of Forest City, Mo.; Mrs. Ellen Burwell of Elliott, Iowa, and one grand-daughter, Miss Pearl Pate.

The funeral is appointed to take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence in South Muscatine.
