Keziah Robinson was listed as a daughter in her father's will signed 29 May 1820. From there the information to create a memorial was drawn from material available online. Although It's possible that the discovery of additional sources may affect conclusions, this bio is respectfully submitted.

The daughter of John and Mary Robinson, Keziah Robinson was born circa 1794 in North Carolina and arrived in Madison County, Illinois Territory, with her family in 1809. She married Mr. William Sharoon, 10 February 1814, Madison County. For a time, the Sharoons lived in Edwardsville, Madison County, IL, but later moved to Scott County where Mr. Sharoon died in 1848. With a probate record for the estate of Kaziah Sharoon dated April 1868, Scott County, it's assumed that shed died there in 1868.
Of the three known children, John, Virgil, and Mary, all were buried in this cemetery; therefore, Mrs. Sharoon's memorial was placed here. Perhaps her name appears on her husband's stone.

From the Corvallis paper: An aged and esteemed citizen of this county, Mr. Beniah Robinson, died at his residence, some three miles northwest of Corvallis, very suddenly, on last Wednesday morning. He had been complaining of something like rheumatism, but had eaten his breakfast, and was walking about as usual, until within an hour of his death.

Although the Robinson information of the Springer history refers mostly to the Joseph Robinson family, the John and Joseph Robinson families undoubtedly had a familial link.

For sharing purposes, papers pertaining to Mrs. Sharoon's father, John Robinson Sr., were added to her memorial rather than her father's. Reasonable speculation suggests that John Robinson Sr. was born ca. 1761. After his Rev War service, he married Mary Leeper 13 June 1783, Lincoln County, North Carolina. In 1809 this couple, Mary and John Robinson Sr., along with sons James, John Jr., and Beniah/Benaiah, daughters Kisiah, Margaret, and Eliza, traveled to Illinois Territory where they settled in Madison County. His son, Gideon, remained behind in Lincoln County, North Carolina. John Sr. died 29 May 1820, survived by his wife and children listed in the will. Destined NOT to remain forever in the Edwardsville area, John Jr., in his later years and with family, pulled up stakes and moved ca. 1846 to Benton County, Oregon, where he served two terms in the Oregon Legislature. A few years after John Jr. left for Oregon, his brother, Beniah, followed. John Jr.'s Oregon bio card reports that his father, John Sr., was a Revolutionary War soldier.

A Revolutionary War memorial exists for a Macoupin County, John Robinson, complicating the belief that Kaziah's father, John Robinson, Sr., was a Revolutionary War veteran.
