Re: Memorial 20691435 - Sharon, the obits given on my Grandmother, Nora Schwinn Cain, have incorrect dates and other information. I am trying to get this corrected for the family and the ones to come. She is listed as being married to Richard Carl Ferguson 2 April 1930 in Kansas. Nora Cain was living with her husband Frank Cain and two of their sons Elmer and Andrew 16 April 1930 in Henryetta, Okmulgee Co. OK. No record of a divorce has ever been found, either in Oklahoma or Kansas, nor a record of a marriage to Richard Ferguson. Her birth date is wrong, it should have been 20 May 1884. She did live with Richard Ferguson at one time, a man MUCH younger than she was, so she herself probably gave the wrong birth date to the Kansas State Industrial Farm where she had worked and was later a patient. Please contact me at [email protected]
