Mildred was the daughter of Walter Ashby and Cordie Sue (Evans) Gammon. She married Frank Alvin Rodgers Sr. in 1944 and they were the parents of three children: Susan Ross, Patricia Ann and Frank Alvin Jr.

RODGERS Mildred Rodgers 89, passed away January 6, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by a son, Frank and 2 Daughters, Susan R. Hardy (Randy) and Pat Rodgers: 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Calvin and Walter Gammon and 2 Sisters, Ruby Lerner and Elsie Stovall. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 9, 2012 at Arlington Park Cemetery on Lone Star Rd. Arrangements by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
