Old Uncle Mose Akers, a well known and respected colored man, about 95 years of age, died in this city Tuesday. He ws once the property of Hon. Thomas P. Akers. He came here from Woodford county, Kentucky, about fifty years ago, and always was proud of his old Kentucky friends.
