BANKS FARIS
Banks Faris was born June 11, 1867 at Chatham, Va., where he grew to manhood. He came to Burchard in 1893. here he was united in marriage Aug. 22, 1895, to Miss Nora Donahue of Burchard and they made their home here until 1917, when they moved in Hinckley, Minn.
In 1920 they moved to Minneapolis, where he resided until his death April 14, 1941, at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 3 days.
He is survived by his wife; one son, John Arthur, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Harrer and Miss Edna Faris of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Lyle Raper of Burchard; also two granddaughters and seven grandsons, other relatives and friends. Two children Maud and Ernest, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held in Minneapolis April 17, and interment was in Lakewood cemetery, in Minneapolis.
