OBITUARY-THE LINCOLN STAR
TUESDAY, JULY 3, 1934

BRACELEN, JOHN-49, died at his home 2337 Q St. at 5 o'clock Monday morning. Member of the firm John Bracelen Auto Service Co., at 605 N. 17th St. Mr. Bracelen had lived in Lincoln about 32 years coming here from Humboldt, Richardson county. He was widely known in Lancaster county as an auto painter.
Mr. Bracelen married Rosa Thurber in 1920 and he belonged to the Catholic Church.
Mr. Bracelen is survived by his wife, one son, Jack; step-son, Ivan Thurber, Collins, Idaho; one step-daughter, Mrs. Doris Galbreth, St. Mary's, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Ed (Kit) Dennis, Oakland, Cal., Mrs. Bernie (Delia) Schmitt, Alliance and Miss Margaret Bracelen of Lincoln; two brothers, Charles M. Bracelen, New York City, and T. Henry Bracelen, Lincoln.
Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
