Ethel M. (McClintic) Merritt, 70, formerly of Shepherd, died Oct. 12 at Citress Memorial Hospital, Inverniss, Fla.
She was born July 24, 1906, in Washington, and was a member of the Bible Christian Fellowship Church. She had lived in Florida for the past 20 years.
She is survived by her husband, Harry; sons, Deo McClintic, Mount Pleasant, and Nile McClintic, Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Edna) Neil, Breckenridge; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Garber-Berry Funeral Home, Shepherd, Rev. Joseph Dudley officiating. Interment will be at Salt River Cemetery, Shepherd.
