Isabelle "Granny" Frames, 89, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at H. B. Marauder Hospital, Port Clinton. She was born May 24, 1918 in Columbus, OH the daughter of Jess and Jessie (Brake) Staley. In Columbus, OH she married Charles M. Frames Sr. and he preceded her in death. Isabell worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, word find books and watching soap operas. Isabell especially loved to play with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include: Daughter Patti (Pat) Deer of Port Clinton, son Charles M.(Joann) Frames Jr. of Florida; grandchildren: Patricia Elaine Fleck of Port Clinton, William R. Fleck of Columbus and Deborah D. (Donald Bolyard of Oak Harbor; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous other loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Isabell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and seven sisters.
A memorial service was held July 27 in the Church of God Prophecy, Port Clinton. Internment was in Franklin Hills Memorial Garden, Columbus. Memorial contributions in Isabell's memory can be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society-Northwest Chapter. Arrangements were handled by the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton.
