Benjamin died in the War of 1812. It is unknown when he died, but the War of 1812's last battle was fought in February 1815 at Fort Bowyer in what became Alabama. Several sources say that Benjamin and Sarah had the children below, but, if so, Benjamin would have died at least seven years after the war's end, and maybe it is mistakenly said that he died during the war, but instead died several years after the war, but from wounds received during the war.
