Professor Aurel Stodolu can be considered a Renaissance man born to a time full of discovery. In addition to being considered the "father of steam turbines" in his lifetime, he also had unusual musical talent and was an excellent teacher.
Aurel Stodola was also professor of brilliant Albert Einstein, otherwise he had the reputation of being an excellent teacher.
He died on 25 December 1942 in Zurich. He has been buried in Liptovský Mikuláš since 1989.
He had two daughters Elena Anna (*30.3.1889- † 1928), familially called Helena and the younger Olga (*13.6.1891- † ...).
