Cherished bride of Robert A. (Bob) Slagle; loving mother of John P. Slagle and Joe L. Slagle; adored daughter of Paul and Edna Teague; dear sister, beloved grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings. Born in Wichita Falls, TX, June moved to China Lake, CA as a teenager and graduated from Ridgecrest HS in 1952. During their marriage June and Bob lived in Boulder, CO, Tularosa and Clovis, NM, and Georgetown, CO before settling in the Albuquerque area in 1985. June worked as a legal assistant and realtor before retiring from the Albuquerque City Attorney's Office. She was a long-time choir member and volunteer at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church. June is survived by her husband Bob Slagle; sons John and Joe; daughters-in-law Kindy Slagle and Kim Slagle; grandchildren Chandra Moschina, Ashley Rodriguez, Evan Slagle, Lauren Drew Slagle, and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Cross of Hope Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to Cross of Hope School or Choir, 6104 Taylor Ranch Rd NW, Albuquerque NM 87120. "Love never ends." 1 Corinthians 13:8
