Denver (Special). - Last rites for Herman Brummund, 72, were held Friday from Matthias Funeral home, with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Church cemetery, the Rev. C. F. Hafermann officiating.
Mr. Brummund died Tuesday last week of a heart attack at the home of his sister.
He was born in Germany, Sept. 26, 1883, and baptized and confirmed in the New Hampton Lutheran church. He farmed in Bremer county until three years ago, when he moved to Denver.
Casket bearers were Merwin Buss, Melvin Nerge, Arlin Zickuhr, Henry Koepke, Paul Thurm, and Louis Seegers.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Carl Buss Denver.
