Gladys Berkley Taylor, age 93, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Born August 3, 1926, in Dover, TN, she was the daughter of the late Seaman T. & Mary Belle Bryant Berkley. Gladys lived life with a loving, outgoing personality that never met a stranger. She had a great love for her family. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband- Burney Wilson King on July 8, 1977; 2nd husband- James A Taylor on May 14, 2002 and daughter- Jill Ford Montoya on November 1, 2013.
She is survived by her son- Nick B. King (Vivian), Vonore, TN; granddaughter- Holly McCormick (Patrick), Cadiz, KY; grandson- Blane Ford, Murfreesboro, TN; four great grandchildren- Garrett McCormick, Reid McCormick, Cameron McCormick and Kayson Ford.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, 5325 Cadiz Road, Hopkinsville at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020 with the Reverend Bradley Cornelius officiating.
