He is survived by his wife, Gussie (Pierson) Watson of the home; his son, Stephen Watson of Clarksville, Arkansas; his daughter, Rachel Watson Hernandez of Hartmon, Arkansas; five step-children; his brothers, Paul Watson of Holden, Missouri; Kenneth Watson of London, Arkansas; his sister, Gloria Willis of Lamar, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2018 at Russell Cemetery with Reverend Bob Oden officiationg. Phil Watson's grandsons will be active pallbearers.
