Anna Conte of Mt. Vernon, NY passed away on March 18, 2009. She was born in Mt. Vernon on May 20, 1911 to Patsy and Theresa Manto. Anna married James Conte on April 29, 1934. She was the matriarch, who loved to help her family all the time. Anna is predeceased by her husband James. She is survived by her daughter Genevieve and her husband James Heelan; grandchildren Jeffrey, Elizabeth and Eric Heelan; and one great granddaughter Kayla Rose Heelan. Also survived by two sisters-in-laws Margaret Manto and Dollie Conte. Family will receive friends on Monday from 7 - 9 PM at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment to follow Beechwood Cemetery.
