Marie Christine Harmer, age 88, of Glenview, IL. Beloved wife for 45 years to the late Robert ‘Bob’ Harmer. Loving mother of Randy (Kathy) Harmer and Rick Harmer. Proud grandmother of Jack, Lane, Grace, Ava, Annalise, and Katelyn Harmer.

Marie was born in Effingham, Illinois in 1931 and spent her adult life in the Chicago Area living in Calumet Park and Homer Glen. She taught 1st grade for over 30 years in Alsip at Stony Creek School, while also raising her sons Rick and Randy. After retiring in 1990, Marie spent her time traveling the world and spending time with her friends and family. She was a devoted grandma and loved attending all their activities and showering them with many, many cards, gifts and love.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
