Starke- Juanita McGauley Hardy, 88, died Thursday, May 7, at her home. Born in Georgia, Mrs. hardy was the daughter of the Rev. G.E. And Mary Mattox McGauley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Hardy; one brother, Roswell McGauley, four sisters, Theora Green, Connie Bagwell, Jean Motes, Mary Furnace; one grandson, Adam Hardy and one great grandson, Colby Hardy.

Survivors include one sister, Willene Stokes of Palatka; two brothers, G.E. “Sam” (Jeannette) ey of Welaka, and Jennings (Jean) McGauley of Jacksonville; two daughters, Charlene (Charles) Francis, and Carol (Bob) Milner; three sons, Charles Hardy IV, Don (Esther) Hardy, all of Starke, and Frank (Yukiko) Hardy of Snohomish, Wash.; Eight Grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mrs. Hardy will be held Friday, May 29, at Firsy Baptist Church, Starke, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the care of Cremations Only, Gainesville.
