Death of Mrs. Diehl.

Mrs. Savilla Diehl, an aged and highly esteemed woman, died at home of her son, H. A. Diehl, in borough of Riverside, at 6 o'clock in the evening, Wednesday, September 2, 1914. She was aged 83 years and for a long time had been very infirm. For five months prior to her death she was bedfast.
The deceased was the widow of Jackson Diehl, who died many years ago. She was survived by three sons and four daughters: H. A, Diehl, Riverside; Henry Diehl, Danville; Peter Diehl of Avis; Mrs. David Snyder of Danville; Mrs. Simon Fetterman of Hughesville; Mrs. Elmer Wilver and Mrs. Grant Rhinehart of Harrisburg. One sister, Mrs. Lizette Sears of Selinsgrove, also survived.
The deceased was a native of Freeburg but lived the greater part of her life in Riverside and immediate vicinity.
The funeral took place from the residence of H. A. Diehl at the lower end of Riverside 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
Interment was made in the Reformed Cemetery, Danville.

Cemetery records on file at the Montour County Genealogical Society indicate that Jackson Diehl is the current owner of the cemetery plot. One can assume that she is buried in the plot with him.
