Beloit Daily News, Aug. 28: Mrs. M.C. Jackson, for the last eighteen years a resdient of Beloit, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Nichols, 836 Highland avenue, yesterday morning at 9:30 at the age of 73 years. Miss Mary Martin was born in England in the year 1839, coming to Mineral Point, Wis. when 10 years of age, where she married M.C. Jackson, who died sixteen years ago. Most of her life was spent about Mineral Point until coming to Beloit to make her home.
Ten children are left to mourn the loss of a kind and faithful mother, they being, Mrs. W.F. Nichols, Mrs. S.G. Wallace and son, Arthur, Beloit, a son, Martin, Montana, William, Texas, George, John, Pierce, and Mrs. Jennie Martin, Mineral Point, and Mrs. B.D. Treloar, Linden, and daughter, Mrs. Geo. Martin of Darlington who passed away four months ago.
Besides these children there are left to mourn her loss, four sisters and one brother: Mrs. W. Penberthy, Beloit, Mrs. B. Miller, Chicago, Mrs. Jane Dunn and John Martin, Mineral Point and Mrs. J.C. White, Mifflin.
