He leaves to cherish his memory, five sons and four daughters, namely: Mrs. Cann of Jackson, Cal., Stephen of Erlo, Colo., Mark and Samuel of Webster City, Ia., Misses Susan and Eliza of Dubuque, Ia., and Edwin, Charles and Miss Grace, of Mineral Point. All except Stephen and Mr. Cann were here for the funeral. Another son, William, died Aug. 17, 1897.
The funeral occurred on Wednesday, the 13th, with services at the residence, conducted by Rev. George Merrifield, and interment in Graceland cemetery.
