Nipper had a troubled life. When he was adopted in 2018, he had a fear of people that bordered on semi-feral. He was never entirely comfortable around people unless he knew you and you were seated and less of a threat. This made it next to impossible to take him to a vet and required him to be sedated. In any event. he had a good home for his senior years rather than life in an animal shelter and was comfortable. He developed a tumor in his throat and mouth that was inoperable and had to be euthanized. Nothing much is known about his past life. His jaw appears to have been broken so the trauma of that event may have marked him for his life.
