Private Graveside services for Jimmie Dean Redmon, Sr., 80, of Pittsburg will be held in Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Interment will be in Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Redmon passed away, Monday, April 13, 2020 in a Longview hospital.

Mr. Redmon was born January 5, 1940 in Erick, Oklahoma to Granville Seymore and Golda Manecie Mills Redmon. He was a retired Terminal Manager for a Trucking and Transportation Company, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ore City.

He is survived by his son, Jimmie Dean Redmon, Jr. and wife Daphne of Ore City; daughter, Amber Lynn Redmon of Ore City; two grandchildren, Taylor Redmon and Aaron Redmon and wife, Emilee; great-grandchildren, Oliver James Redmon and Lily Ann Redmon; sister, Modena Marie Downs of Las Vegas, Nevada and a very dear niece: Debbie Harris of Dallas.

Mr. Redmon is preceded in death by his parents, wife Kathryn Ann Harris Redmon, brothers, Kenneth Leon “Leon”, Infant, Tarness Fapie, Albert, Lavern “Jack”, Cleatus Max “Max”, Donald Ray, Billy Doyle “Bill”; sisters, Floy Alberta, Faydola Mae “Fay”, Sharon Rose and Noveta Gail “Gail”.
