She was born September 9, 1899 at Highlandville, the daughter of Granville Seymour "Dan" Redmon and Mary Leigh Redmon. She was a lifelong resident of Christian County and a member of Ozark Northside Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, Lola Dean Phelps; her first husband, David Klapp; her second husband, Rile Howard; three sisters; a brother; two infant children; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, David N. Klapp, Ozark, Albert G. Klapp, Aurora, August K. Klapp and Alfred E. Howard, both of Springfield; a sister, Cheatie Gibson, state of Oregon; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, May 11 in Adams Funeral Home, with James Baysinger officiating. Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery.
