Dennis D. Eagle, formerly of Perth, died on Friday, April 10, 2020, at his home in Tampa, Fla. at the age of 68.

He was born the son of Charles and Naida (Mangold) Eagle on Saturday, September 15, 1951, in Norton. Dennis graduated from Norton Community High School in Norton. Shortly after completing high school, Dennis went into the military. He served in the Navy from 1972-1975. He was employed in the aircraft industry and retired in 2017 from Spirit Aerosystems, Wichita. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Whitlock and her husband Maurice of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Brandy Jones and her husband Jacob of Tampa, Florida; son, Dennis “DJ” Eagle, II and his wife Andrea of Wellington; mother, Naida Eagle of Perth, grandchildren: Tori, Tres, Kobe, Natalie, Jordan, Cassidy, Aja, Dennis III, and Gemma; four great-grandchildren; nephew, James Baity; siblings, David Eagle of Wellington and Donnie Eagle of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Eagle, sister, Debra “Debbie” Baity, brother, Edward Eagle.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2020.

A private funeral service will be held. Dennis will be laid to rest at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS), 3450 North Rock Road, Suite 204, Wichita 67226
