"Charles Warren Eagle, 76, retired mechanic, died Nov. 17, 1999, at Beverly health and Rehab in Wellington. He had been a resident of Wellington since 1972. He was a former Norton, Kansas resident. Charles was born Aug. 22, 1923 in Powersville, Mo., to Eugene William and Anne Elizabeth (Harper) Eagle. He marrried Naida Marigold on Nov. 4, 1948, in Washington, KS.
He served in the Navy during World War II and was amember of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
He was peceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one son, Edward.
Survivors include his wife, Naida, of the home in Wellington; his daughter, Debra Baity of Perth; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 19 at the Frank Funeral Home. Interment was in the Bethany Cemetery at Perth."
